Section 8.1: Proton Therapy


I will to reminder everyone, in addition of the tumor, I also have a global aphasia, so I problem with trying to express my self in writing and speech. That are many things where sentence are not completely correct. Some times is a verb, subject or other problem . If you have some question, please send an email to me Jkoziana@aol.com).

I have updated this section for the Proton Therapy and hope to undated as the continued.

Dr. Rodrigue has put some implanted in my skull for the Proton Therapy. Since then, I went to the Proton Therapy for a Simulation session. 


As usually, I also have a few question.
  • How did you put in my skull? 
  • Is the plastic (?) On my duma (is this place) points pull out? 
  • If some hits my head on a implement what happens to the impact areas?

One had a the blood sample Thursday with be use3d by Proton Therapy.

The Proton Therapy will started tomorrow.

 Dr Thornton  is the Radiation Oncologist

1.  March 11,, 2014: meeting with Dr about the therapy.
2. March 12.  : a dry run with me and the proton machine. Checking my mold and teeth mold (no face mask like cyberknife)
3. March 13, 2014: the first treatment.

Section 8: Recurrent Anaplastic Meningioma Tumor

Every six months since my surgery in 2009, I have had to undergo an MRI to see any changes in my tumors.

January 3, 2014 I suddenly have a Recurrent Anaplastic Meningioma Tumor.

Findings from 1/3/2014 MR

  1. Mass now extends midline best seen on coronal post contrast 26.
    • Transverse, caudocranial and AP dimensions
    • Now measures 3.0 x 1.6 x 3.5 cm versus 1.8 x 0.7 x 1.4 cm
  2. There is mass effect upon the parenchyma predominantly left-sided


In this report, you see the MRI Dec 28, 2009 and the 1/3/2014 MRI.

As results of this Dr. Rodrigue meeting, I need to check with the following organizations.
            Brain and Tumors 4/20/2009 and (updated 1/22/2014)   

Surgical history (the last thing to do)!!!

    News: Recurrent Anaplastic Meningioma Jan 3, 2014

    It has been long time since I have updated my blog.

    I had a MRI on 1/3/2014 and we meeting with Dr.Rodrigue talk me about my tumors. On the last MRI, there was a recurrent anaplastic meningioma.

    I will  be updating this information in the future.
