Section 8.1: Proton Therapy

I will to reminder everyone, in addition of the tumor, I also have a global aphasia, so I problem with trying to express my self in writing and speech. I have updated this section for the Proton Therapy and hope to undated as the continued.

Dr. Rodrigue has put some implanted in my skull for the Proton Therapy. Since then, I went to the Proton Therapy for a Simulation session. 

As usually, I also have a few question.

• How did you put in my skull? 
• Is the plastic (?) On my duma (is this place) points pull out? 
• If some hits my head on a implement what happens to the impact areas?

One had a the blood sample Thursday with be use3d by Proton Therapy.

The Proton Therapy will started tomorrow.

2. March 12.  : a dry run with me and the proton machine. Checking my mold and teeth mold (no face mask like cyberknife)

Every six months since my surgery in 2009, I have had to undergo an MRI to see any changes in my tumors.

January 3, 2014 I suddenly have a Recurrent Anaplastic Meningioma Tumor.

Findings from 1/3/2014 MR

1. Mass now extends midline best seen on coronal post contrast 26.
• Transverse, caudocranial and AP dimensions
• Now measures 3.0 x 1.6 x 3.5 cm versus 1.8 x 0.7 x 1.4 cm
2. There is mass effect upon the parenchyma predominantly left-sided

In this report, you see the MRI Dec 28, 2009 and the 1/3/2014 MRI.

As results of this Dr. Rodrigue meeting, I need to check with the following organizations.

It has been long time since I have updated my blog.

I had a MRI on 1/3/2014 and we meeting with Dr.Rodrigue talk me about my tumors. On the last MRI, there was a recurrent anaplastic meningioma.

Section 7.2: “Present Day 1-19-12”.

Section 7.2: “Present Day 1-19-12”.

Once again the 9 months, I was able to get this section, Section 7: Present Day "Stuff" , in the blog. Since then I have not written on my blog. This will be the “Section 7: Present Day 1-19-12”. I have written many notes (notebook). I will try to go this soon.

I have been working of finder-word books (9 books) and I started with Sudoku. It took me a long time to work with (ex. easy, medium, hard and few very hard). I have does 4 books of this. The about Nov 2011 I have begun to read books again. This is a list of the notes.

In the past couple months, I can talk with people and I can look “eye to eye” and talk directly with them. This has been a big change to. Sometime I do not know what to say, but it show up later. This is a challenge for me.

The MRI was okay. It appears to be a new machine. This time, the MRI did not have a mirror to the other side word. The machine has a “rocky” sound they move me around a lot for a short period of time. I did get the MRI and the CD.

I have a MRI in Sen tara on 12/28/2011. I had an appointment with Dr. Tina Rodrigue on 1/17/2012.

We had a good meeting and I was talking what I had been doing. (See the charts below).

They were sharing these once a THIRD tumor (MRI 12-28-11). In it the same area as the first tumor.

Last year we have a CyberKnife radiation. To me, it was good.

1.      It looks like the first tumor is dye out the outside wall and this inside the circle. We thank the radiation worked on it.

2.      Second tumor: No change in the tumor

3.      Third Tumor: This new tumor in my head. Will be worked with Dr. Williams and the CyberKnife.  


The Third tumor is growth and we with with Dr. Rodrigue and Dr. Williams
to find out what the plan is CyberKnife radiation?

I talked Dr. Rodrigue about what is happening and included (slides ) for the meeting.

Introduction
I have not put on the blog in a while. This the first installment of the section (Chapter 7)

I have been working on finder-word books (7 books so far). These exercise my brain. When I first started, it was hard and it take me long time to do. So far, I have re-learned many “new” words. I still need to learn a lot of “old” words. This is a function of how my brain can be recreated. Working on the blog helps me exercise brain for the future.

I have a MRI on November 2010. This is the first time we have had a MRI since the Cyber-Knife Treatment. My speech is geeting better. One of the things I was able to go, is to create some slides from Dr. Rodrigue. I had a CyberKnife Radiosurgery (SATNDFORD hospitial and Clinics). Below are some of the were talked about.

I should have done this Nov 2010. I will also be "blooger" stuff shortly.

In the next 6 months there will be a three MRI to assess the tumor and I will post some information in these "blooger" .
